Anchorage members Craig and Day Olney have a great website for tracking their extended cruising aboard their Catalina 380, "Toucan". Currently, Toucan is wintering in the Little Current area of the North Channel. Take a look at their really cool website here: http://www.toucan-sailing.com. The first annual AYC / WYC / UK Halsey PHRF and One-Design Regatta August 23rd and 24th was a blast!! Both days had great wind ... SW Saturday, and NE Sunday. Many thanks to Carl and John driving committee boats, Kevin Novak for organizing and committee boat duty, Todd Scott on Committee boat, and John Simons organizing. Sunday, with 20 knots out of the NE and building waves, must have been loads of fun on the committee boats!
Thanks WYC for the hospitality, and the Anchorage and WYC boats for racing. More boats would have made it even more of a blast, so let's talk it up with our crews for next year!! Results are here .
